Kathy Bunker is hosting the 2nd annual Dancers Making a Difference Concert to benefit Rising Star Outreach February 2, 2010, at the Cashman Center Theatre at 7:30pm. Tickets are available in advance at Bunker Dance Center or the night of the show at the Cashman Center box office for $15.00. The Performing Arts companies from Bunker Dance Center along with the talented dancers from Inspire and The Dance Zone are joining hands to present a beautiful night of dance. Many surprise performances by professionals working in Love and past faculty members will be giving their support the evening of the concert as well. Most importantly, Becky Douglas, the founder of Rising Star Outreach, will be speaking at the concert and sharing her heart-touching stories of the work being done in India for truly some of the world's most downtrodden people. It will be a night that will stay with you for a long time.
This past November, the Senior Performing Arts Company was awarded the Choreography Pick for the third straight year in a row at the Pulse Convention for the number entitled, "Expressions in the Root of..." choreographed by Peter Chu.
Kathy Bunker has been busy in Provo, Utah co-choreographing the opening number for the 50th Anniversary Christmas Around the World Concerts to be held at the Marriot Center on the Brigham Young University campus in December!
Stacey Tookey, former company teacher at Bunker Dance, is directing and producing the Top Ten Tour of dancers from Canada's, So You Think You Can Dance!
Teen and Senior Performing Arts Companies were named Teen National Grand Champions at LADF for their amazing Peter Chu work, "Composition of Me."
We are now offering Pilates and Yoga! The classes are available for ages Jr. High to Adult.
